Because of its transparency, though, the scent fades quickly. To draw it out a little, I added an extra nuance, a mandarin ingredient used in flavourings, for a very juicy touch. As it begins to fade, Molecule 01 comes forward and an interplay emerges between the warm sensuality of Molecule 01 and the tingling freshness of mandarin. That is unusual, a top note like mandarin and a base note like Iso E Super dancing together like this, bare, without the involvement of any other notes.
