On a rainy summer evening he was sitting on a terrace when he caught an unfamiliar scent. It was the perfume of a woman in a purple silk dress, seated a little further along. Buxton was captivated by the fragrance, unable to make out a single one of its notes. In his own words, it was a “feminine, devilish scent, as though I had fallen into the most delicious trap.” Devil in Disguise opens with a bright, invigoratingly fresh combination of rhubarb leaf and ginger. The feminine elegance that defines this fragrance sits at its heart, with magnolia and neroli. It is finished with an ethereal, smoky blend of patchouli, vetiver and musk. In the end it is the vetiver that reveals itself as the true devil in disguise, stepping ever more to the fore. Sultry, animalic and floral all at once, Devil in Disguise is made to fascinate and enchant the senses, your own and those of others. The beautiful black bottle lends your perfume collection a refined, minimalist touch.
