For Escentric 04 by Escentric Molecules, Geza Schoen drew inspiration from the grapefruit accents in javanol. The result is a fresh and original interpretation of a sandalwood fragrance, sparkling with the bright, bittersweet top accords of pink grapefruit peel.
Juniper and pink pepper add an extra burst of freshness, while cannabis heightens the softer quality at the heart of the grapefruit. The core is iris with a ‘fresh, soft rose’ that Schoen composed from four different rose materials. The dry down is balsamic and woody, with javanol alongside the slightly sweeter scent of the sandalwood molecule polysantol.
