Description

The Firming Body Moisturiser by Olverum is a refined, velvety body cream developed for areas of the body that have lost their firmness and elasticity. Ingredients such as meadowfoam, African cabbage and rice extracts deeply hydrate the skin, while Alaria Esculenta helps stimulate collagen production and crowberry extract from Lapland helps slow the natural breakdown of collagen. Together with papaya enzyme, coriander and natural antioxidants, they support cell renewal and leave the skin feeling firmer.

How to use

– Take three small blobs of cream from the tube and warm them in your hands.
– Breathe in the scent of the cream and apply it to the specific area of the body you wish to massage.

Upper arms: Apply in circular, upward movements from the elbow towards the armpit. For a more intensive movement, pinch the skin between your fingers and thumb.

Shoulders and décolleté: Sweep the hand across the décolleté towards the armpit with firm pressure. Move the hand up towards your shoulder and squeeze for 3 seconds. Repeat the full movement three times on the left and three times on the right.

Stomach: Massage in small circular movements around your navel with your fingertips. Always work clockwise, following the direction of your digestive system.

Thighs: Begin at the knees and make a quick movement, alternating your hands upwards along your thighs. Perform this at a brisk pace. For a more intensive movement, use the knuckles of both hands and draw them up along your thighs towards your hips.

The self-care brand Olverum grew from the passion of German winemaker Franz Otto Klein and his wife Edith, and their love of travel and essential oils. In 1931 the couple created an exceptional therapeutic oil, inspired by the spa towns of Baden-Baden. The Second World War brought production to a halt, but the recipe was buried in the garden, allowing their son Peter to resume the work in 1948. He named it Olverum, from oleum verum (“true oil”).

For many years it remained a well-kept secret, until Michael Hawksley discovered the brand in 1984 and secured exclusive distribution rights for the United Kingdom. In 2014 his family took over the brand entirely, and in 2015 Michael’s son Dominic relaunched Olverum with a modern look, without losing its rich heritage.
