To Break by Mark Buxton is a unisex fragrance built on the essences of ambrette and ambergris, combined with a blend of magnolia, pineapple and green apple. The heart is a mix of herbs and iris. The base is a musky sandalwood associated with ambergris. This is the fragrance with the highest concentration of ambrette oil and ambergris on the market.
For Mark and David, simple formulas are the rule; not a single note is added to the composition at random. The message must come across clearly. The formulas are simple, yet challenging at the same time. If the fragrance calls for it, they don’t hesitate to ‘overdose’ a particular ingredient.
