The silky-soft Jacarandá Calming Hand Cream by Benamôr is named after the iconic trees of Lisbon. These striking trees bloom for only a few days each year, with beautiful lilac flowers. The hand cream is enriched with aloe vera, among other ingredients, for deep hydration. Shea butter gives it an ultra-soft texture and nourishes the skin beautifully. 99% of the ingredients are of natural origin, of very high quality and 100% Portuguese. The hand cream is not only handmade, but also free from parabens and petroleum.

Benamôr was founded in 1925 by a mysterious apothecary who made healing ‘wonder creams’ in his laboratory in Lisbon. Today the collection spans care products for the face, body, hair, hands and feet, in lovely fragrances and playful colours. The formulations draw on natural ingredients grown under the Portuguese sun, such as lemon, rose and aloe vera. The playful, vintage Art Deco packaging, like some of the recipes, has remained almost unchanged over the course of a century.
