Babassu Beauty Eileen:
“My favourite is Slogan by Courrèges, a woody, aquatic perfume with a surprising contrast between warm musk and airy juniper. On a first date I would wear Miss_U by Laboratorio Olfattivo. It is a warm perfume that smells of a romantic open fire.”

Babassu Beauty Emma:
“I would choose Blue Santal by Comme des Garçons, for its salty, bold character.
For a date night I find Cozumel by Laboratorio Olfattivo very fitting. It is an aromatic, passionate scent that shifts continually between cool and warm. I also think I want by Marc Buxton is a good one for Valentine’s Day. This perfume built around red fruit is a little stronger, but very elegant. I picture myself in a truly beautiful dress.”

Babassu Beauty Arlene:
“Don’t Cry for Me by A Long Time Ago In Argentina (Altaia) is a favourite, for its softness. It is a gentle scent with violets and a memory of times past. I am not from Sulawesi myself, but the finest patchouli is. Sulawesi by Nissaba is my ultimate patchouli scent. I would wear Nudiflorem by Nasomatto Parfums for a first date. The longer you wear it, the lovelier it becomes. A very mysterious scent. Rose Ardoise by Atelier Materi has a bold little rose and works for both her and him. If you need to choose a perfume for a man, then Black by Comme des Garçons is wonderful. This classic men’s fragrance actually reminds me of my very first date.”

Babassu Beauty Fenne:
“My all-time favourite is Hyper Musc by Courrèges, a woody, floral musk fragrance for women and men. On my date I wear the fresh Dancing on Goosebump by Emil Élise.”

Babassu Beauty Louise:
“My favourite perfume is French Leather by Memo. If I had a boyfriend, I would love it if he wore By The Fire Place by Replica. La Vie En Fleurs by Bienamé is truly a scent for a first date!”

Babassu Beauty Jessica:
“It would be lovely if my boyfriend wore L’Empriente by Courrèges. The scent opens with fresh bergamot and melds with the warmth of patchouli and creamy ambroxan. For myself, I choose Slogan by Courrèges at Valentine’s, for the contrast between airy juniper and warm musk.”

Babassu Beauty Michelle:
“I really like Gin Fizz by Lubin. The perfume was created as a tribute to Grace Kelly and named after her favourite cocktail. Escentric 01 by Escentric Molecules is another favourite. My boyfriend and I both wear it. It is soft and easy to wear: one to recommend to anyone. On a night out I would spray Hinoki by Comme des Garçons. It smells of cedar, vetiver and oakmoss, as though you are walking through the woods. Or Kedu by Memo. A scent with grapefruit, neroli and a touch of musk.”
