With Alantoíne The Original Soap by Benamôr, your hands are not only thoroughly cleansed but also nourished and cared for. Allantoin is much loved in the cosmetics world for its moisture-retaining, skin-protecting qualities. It also has a subtly exfoliating effect, gently removing dead skin cells so the hands look and feel softer and more supple. Glycerine, with its hydrating qualities, keeps the hands well nourished. This hand soap also contains shea butter, known for its protective, soothing qualities, while coconut and sunflower oil are natural fats that help to prevent the skin from drying out.

Benamôr was founded in 1925 by a mysterious apothecary who made healing ‘wonder creams’ in his laboratory in Lisbon. Today the collection spans care products for the face, body, hair, hands and feet, in lovely fragrances and playful colours. The formulations draw on natural ingredients grown under the Portuguese sun, such as lemon, rose and aloe vera. The playful, vintage Art Deco packaging, like some of the recipes, has remained almost unchanged over the course of a century.
