This new version of the legendary ’empreinte’ is part of the house’s heritage, evoking the moment two beings meet and the emotional journey that follows. The composition opens with fresh bergamot before melting into the warmth of patchouli and creamy ambroxan. Courrèges is a French fashion house, founded in 1961 by André and Coqueline Courrèges and known for its forward-looking, high-end fashion. Its clean lines and avant-garde silhouettes are refined and boundary-pushing in equal measure. The first fragrance, Empreinte, was launched in 1970. For the house’s sixtieth anniversary, Nicolas Di Felice, artistic director of Courrèges, gave the house fragrances a new lease of life and introduced a distinctive hyper and colour collection of ten remarkable eaux de parfum.
