Marketing & E-commerce Growth Manager

At Babassu we are looking for a Marketing & E-commerce Growth Manager who spots opportunities and knows how to realise them. You are the link between marketing, e-commerce, retail and buying, making sure campaigns, launches and projects are not only well thought out but well delivered.
In short: you turn ideas into something concrete that delivers.
What will you be doing?
No two days are the same. One day you are working on the marketing calendar or a new online campaign, the next on a product launch, Club Babassu or one of our special beauty projects.
Among other things, you will be working on:
- Developing and safeguarding our marketing strategy, annual planning and marketing calendar
- Initiating and coordinating campaigns and marketing projects, from first idea to delivery
- Developing commercial activations around brands, product launches, events and promotions
- Developing Club Babassu, email marketing and marketing automation further
- Growing and improving our webshop, with an eye on SEO, SEA, conversion and the online customer journey
- Coordinating influencer and PR collaborations, events and partnerships
- Translating campaigns to both our boutiques and our online channels
- Developing and coordinating special Babassu projects such as our Summer Bag, Winter Bag and Sample Sets
- Keeping an eye on deadlines, budgets and priorities, and making sure everyone involved knows what needs to happen
- Spotting commercial opportunities and turning them into concrete action
Who are we looking for?
You are an independent, energetic and well-organised marketer who moves easily between the bigger picture and the day to day. You enjoy a lively pace, can run several projects at once and like building something lovely together with others.
On top of that:
- You have several years of relevant marketing experience, ideally in beauty or lifestyle
- You have experience of e-commerce and project management
- You work at degree level and can operate independently, both strategically and hands-on.
- You have a feeling for brands, presentation and commerce
- You understand how online marketing channels work together and know your way around email marketing, SEO, SEA and conversion
- You communicate easily and enjoy working with different people and disciplines
- You are curious about what is happening in beauty, retail, e-commerce and online marketing
